DERMIKELP® ACUTE SOOTHING OINTMENT contains CEM-K a natural active ingredient from KELP.  When the skin reacts to a negative stimulus, the CEM-K decreases the IgE secretion which prevents histamine from being released and an allergic reaction from taking place.  This reduces the redness and itching.
